On October 9 and 10, the Domestic Arbitration Congress took place in Madrid, organized by the Madrid Court of Arbitration, where PLA Litigation Funding had the pleasure of participating as a sponsor.
Over two intensive days, the event brought together leading professionals from the legal and business sectors to discuss the main challenges currently facing arbitration in Spain. Among the topics addressed were corporate disputes, post–M&A conflicts, construction and engineering arbitration, the relationship between arbitration and the courts, and the increasing role of artificial intelligence in arbitral proceedings.
At PLA Litigation Funding, we especially appreciated the quality of the presentations and the constructive tone of the debates, which reflected the rigor, independence, and commitment to continuous improvement that define this institution.
A shared idea among many participants stood out throughout the Congress: the true value of arbitration lies in its ability to evolve and adapt to new legal and economic realities without losing the agility and credibility that make it such an effective dispute resolution mechanism.
