Our CEO, Jesús Rodrigo Lavilla, has participated as a speaker in the session held by
Fundación para la Investigación sobre el Derecho y la Empresa (FIDE) “The
role of litigation funds: regulatory context and markets of activity”.
The session, which took place on 21 September 2023, discussed several topics related
to litigation funding. On the one hand, the B2B issues in the arbitration finance market
were analysed. Also discussed were issues such as the new directions of financing in
the judicial field, the rights protected by the Constitution in terms of access to justice
and compliance with ethical codes in dealing with clients.
In addition, the speakers at the session discussed how the potential regulation of third-
party financing at the EU level may affect the industry.
