PLA Litigation Funding took part in the 18th Annual Congress of the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently held in Lisbon.
Our Director, Alipio Conde Herrero, was a speaker on the panel titled “FET – Fair and Equitable Treatment”, which addressed the relevance of the FET standard in investment arbitration proceedings. The discussion also highlighted the importance of having appropriate funding to deal with this type of litigation.
The panel was moderated by Professor Dário Moura Vicente and featured contributions from Lourenço Vilhena de Freitas (Cuatrecasas) and Ashique Rahman (Saadeh Rahman).
