According to @Law360, the EU Parliament proposal to regulate third-party litigation funding at Union level could be postponed, as the EU Commission would be planning to carry out a more formal research before moving forward.
It is excellent news. Let’s hope that the EU Commission decides to hear other stakeholders, and that the current shortcomings of the proposed regulation are adequately addressed.
