On September 12-14, the XV Annual Congress of the Spanish Arbitration Club was held in Madrid. The Congress was organized by the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA) and was sponsored, among other partners, by Procurator Litigation Advisors (PLA).
The Congress focused on the challenges and opportunities of Arbitration in the 21st century. The sessions dealt with very new and interesting topics such as The Financial Analysis of Arbitration, Artificial Intelligence in Arbitration, Climate Change and Arbitration, New Opportunities for Arbitration in the Digital Economy, Experiences in Virtual Arbitration, and The Singapore Convention on Mediation.
Jesús Rodrigo Lavilla and Fernando Gragera Contador had the opportunity to attend the event on behalf of Procurator Litigation Advisors (PLA) and to exchange views with the attendees on the challenges and opportunities of arbitration in the coming years, arbitration funding, and best practices of third-party funding in the context of domestic and international arbitration.
